Riding lessons

At Shamrock stables we pride ourselves in offering horseback riding lessons that range from beginner and introductory lessons to advanced technique and FEQ level training. Riders of all ages are welcome! We have boys and girls from the age of 5 to ....well, to our more seasoned riders! Everyone is welcome to call or visit!

Horseback riding lessons 12 months a year, 6 days a week. Large Indoor riding arena for the undesirable weather. Large outdoor riding arena for fine weather riding! Western and English riding lessons. Private, semi private or group riding lessons are available. Top professional instructional program which caters to your individual needs. Competition show schedule and FEQ rider levels. Fully bilingual stable.

Children

Horseback riding is a wonderful way for children to gain confidence in themselves and be able to learn all about horses at the same time. We usually start off with private lessons in order for the instructions to properly gage your child's confidence and skill level.

For children it is often a better idea to have weekly lessons (as opposed to lessons every 2 or 3 weeks) as they benefit more from the continuity.

Adults

Because adults often take riding lessons for entirely different reasons than younger children, our lessons tend to cater more to the individuals' needs and objectives. Many of our adult riders simply come to escape the stress of every day responsibilities and profit from the experience horseback riding and being around horses.
